ECONOMIC CLASSES : PROVINCIAL NOMINEES
Most provinces in Canada have an agreement with the Government of Canada that allows them to select immigrants (Provincial Nominees) who wish to settle in that province. A person interested in immigration to Canada’s should explore the immigration programs of each province to see if they might qualify to immigrate to Canada as a Provincial Nominee.
Potential immigrants to Canada must first apply to the province where they wish to settle. The province will consider a person’s Canada immigration potential based on its provincial immigration needs. If a province chooses (nominates) a potential immigrant to Canada that person will then have to make a separate Canada immigration application for final approval.
